About
Carlos Xavier Moreno, DrAP, CRNA, NSPM-C, is a double board-certified healthcare provider in Anesthesia and Non-Surgical Pain Management (NSPM-C). He has been passionate about healthcare since 1993, when he enlisted in the US Military. Xavier's military service instilled in him a passion for leadership, evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and thirst for knowledge. So much so, Xavier invented and patented the "Xact Counter" to better patient outcomes in epidural use. Further, he has pursued degrees in Education, Nursing, Anesthesia and Pain Management. Xavier has a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University in Workforce, Education and Training. He has a Master's and Doctoral Degree in Anesthesia from Rosalind Franklin University and University of Michigan Flint, respectively. He has been recognized for his commitment to excellence in healthcare with leadership awards and multiple meritorious promotions. Xavier is an expert in Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia and completed an Interventional Pain externship with Premiere Pain Management and an advanced pain fellowship through the University of South Florida.
Throughout Xavier's career, he has always noticed a major gap in the employer and the employee in clinician care. In the traditional business world, many employees and leaders have coaches and mentors to guide their trajectory. In bedside healthcare, there truly hasn't been a space where the employee can grow under the guidance of an experienced provider that isn't part of the organization.
